Overview

This ongoing collection demonstrates proficiency in the complete prop creation pipeline—from concept interpretation through final presentation. Each prop follows a consistent workflow: high-poly sculpting for detail capture, optimized low-poly modeling for game engine efficiency, UV mapping for clean texture layouts, PBR texturing with full material complexity, and final presentation renders that showcase the work at its best. The collection spans multiple styles and eras, demonstrating versatility in tackling diverse art direction requirements.

01

Vintage Camera

This vintage camera prop demonstrates precision modeling of complex mechanical assemblies. The high-poly model features accurate lens mechanisms, textured leather grip, and chrome details that catch light realistically. The low-poly version maintains visual fidelity at under 15,000 triangles through careful topology optimization and strategic normal map baking. Texture work includes worn leather, scratched chrome, and dusty glass elements that tell the story of a well-used piece of equipment.

Pocket Watch

The pocket watch presents intricate mechanical detail at small scale. The open-face design reveals a detailed movement with individual gears, springs, and jewel bearings. Glass materials were carefully tuned for realistic refraction and subtle fingerprint smudges. The gold case features period-appropriate engraving patterns with wear concentrated on high-touch areas. This prop demonstrates the ability to handle precision mechanical subjects while maintaining PBR accuracy.

Retro Walkman

This retro electronics prop showcases worn plastic materials, vintage decals, and the characteristic aesthetic of 1980s consumer electronics. The texture work tells a story—scratched screen, worn button labels, and discolored plastic from sun exposure. The cassette door mechanism was modeled to function, allowing the prop to be used in animations showing tape insertion. Material work focused on the challenging mix of glossy plastic, matte rubber, and metallic accents that define this era of product design.
